things went lalala lately. the summer. the light. also, as the Jam goes public, it loses much of the roughness around its edges. so it’s just possible that ‘reconn’, a nervous drone, dynamic and very loud, is a one step back to abstract basics.

i realize how un-sexy it is to tell the world how you technically make your art. so i try to do it without really doing it. because writing a little poem alongside the music can be even more pathetic.

i want to say that Kore2 is the best hands-on interface i came across until now. as soon as it’s wired to my favorite instruments, it’s just a dream to perform.

have i mentioned – it does get loud.

what’s up

what is up.
we had a successful, public manifestation of the Jam, and another one coming up this thursday >>

and in between i got lost in a struggle between Live8 and Reaktor. they havent both quite behaved with each other. not sure why. nobody’s sure why. but i wasn’t yet ready to give up, before trying the so called “super host” aka Kore2.. now this baby rocks. it does exactly what i needed it for, and that is to host Reaktor the best way possible. mapping ensembles to the depth. all controllers in a neat and tidy live set up. morphing sounds, saving presets on banks and accessing it through program change… heaven. all this mass can be afterwards be hosted as a plugin in Live for sequencing.

results, soon on the internets near you.
