things went lalala lately. the summer. the light. also, as the Jam goes public, it loses much of the roughness around its edges. so it’s just possible that ‘reconn’, a nervous drone, dynamic and very loud, is a one step back to abstract basics.
i realize how un-sexy it is to tell the world how you technically make your art. so i try to do it without really doing it. because writing a little poem alongside the music can be even more pathetic.
i want to say that Kore2 is the best hands-on interface i came across until now. as soon as it’s wired to my favorite instruments, it’s just a dream to perform.
have i mentioned – it does get loud.

yesterday night. hotel room somewhere in the middle of germany (small, picturesque. i asked 4 times today “so.. where are we really?” and somehow my brain refuses to save this name. i only know it’s somewhere close to Köln!) more Live8 beta resulting neat minimalist percussive sounds that max up my cpu.

090220 skrewell machine
skrewell is yet another genius reaktor job by lazyfish. and now that Live8 (still in beta) is able to save reaktor ensembles inside a rack, some things become easier than they were.. so while preparing to the jam with Neven Dayvid tomorrow (beware!), i tuned up my new skrewell machine and post here a little teaser –

so things did get groovy here after a 2 week shut down.
this little set, recored half an hour ago, is all FM synthesis through resonators… have fun with it!
p.s. mp3’s will be 320 kbps from now on… the 192 just doesn’t cut.
